The purpose
of the club shall be to provide an opportunity for boys and girls to develop their leadership, character and citizenship skills, to
help them lead a more satisfying life by rendering community service, participation in wholesome recreation activities, and
provide learning experiences in a wide variety of subjects.
The membership is open to all boys and girls ages
5 -19 (high school) who have the consent of their parent or guardian.* No greater than one-third of the membership
may be civilian. Base privileges are not granted solely on the membership in the club. Members may be responsible
for debts and liabilities of the club, based on the state laws of North Carolina.
(* members will be considered irrespective of race, creed, sex, color, handicap or national origin. You must be 6 yrs old to ride a government horse per Base Order)
The 4-H Horse Club meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 4
P.M. (dates will change due to holidays, or conflict with Stable functions) Our meetings are held at the Base Stables, located
on Stone Street.
